Miami Dolphins Blow Out Denver Broncos, 70-10
Historic Win for Miami, Embarrassing Loss for Denver
Dolphins Score NFL Record 70 Points
In a game that will go down in NFL history, the Miami Dolphins absolutely dismantled the Denver Broncos on Sunday, winning by a score of 70-10. The victory was the Dolphins' largest margin of victory in franchise history, and the most points scored by any team in an NFL game since the AFL-NFL merger in 1970.
The Dolphins' offense was firing on all cylinders, led by quarterback Tua Tagovailoa. Tagovailoa threw for 450 yards and five touchdowns, and also ran for another score. Running back Raheem Mostert added 150 yards rushing and two touchdowns, while wide receiver Jaylen Waddle had 120 yards receiving and two touchdowns.
The Broncos, on the other hand, were completely overmatched. Quarterback Russell Wilson was sacked six times and threw three interceptions, and the team's running game was held to just 50 yards. The defense was unable to generate any pressure on Tagovailoa, and the secondary was repeatedly torched by the Dolphins' receivers.
The loss was the Broncos' fourth in a row, and dropped them to 1-4 on the season. The Dolphins, meanwhile, improved to 4-1 and are now tied for first place in the AFC East.
