Cheryl Miller, born January 3, 1964, in Riverside, California, is an American basketball legend. She rose to fame as a standout player for the University of Southern California (USC) and the United States national team.
Rise to Stardom
Miller's exceptional skills and determination earned her the nickname "The Olympian." She led USC to two consecutive NCAA championships in 1983 and 1984, earning All-American honors and the Naismith College Player of the Year award. She also represented the United States in three Olympic Games, winning two gold medals in 1984 and 1996.
